Jason raised an eyebrow. "why are you trying to get a job? i thought you were a pirate?" he asked walking next to her.

"Jeff kicked me off his ship. Me being on board was causing all kinds of hell. And no one else will deal with a woman on board unless she is a prostitute, and only then long enough to screw them over and be done."

Jason rolled his eyes. "yeah so i've heard. well if you want you can come on my ship" he offered smiling at her.

Calico raised an eyebrow, "You're ship?" she asked skeptically, as if she believed he was making it up.

Jason nodded. "you didn't think i got such a reputation without a ship did you?" he asked smiling at her. "and of course there is always room on my ship for you. none of my crew will dare try anything." he said.

Jason frowned. "if you mean what i think you mean i hope you're joking." he said. "either way, you're comming with me now. i'll look after you" he said.

Jason frowned. he gripped her wrist. "well i'm not going to let you do that again" he said leading her towards the docks. "you're with me from now on" he said. his grip on her wrist was firm, yet it was like holding a baby bird, just hard enough she couldn't get away, yet loose enough to not hurt.

Calico frowned, "I did what I had to in order to stay alive. You can't blame me for that."

"well you don't have to do it now" he said simply. he brought her on board his ship. "first things first, i'm sure you want a bath" he said.

Calico ran her fingers through her hair, which was before in dreadlocks but now was clean, "It would be appreciated, yes."

Jason smield and ran her a nice hot bath in a tub. he put some bath salts in to help with smell. tortuga didn't exactly leave a great smell... he sat on the bed and pulled off his boots. "there you go. i'm just going to take a quick nap, you can wake me up when you're done" he said laying back anc closing his eyes.

Calico frowned, "GO into the other room. While I did have to sell what little I had to live, I don't appreciate others in the room when I'm not dressed."

jason snored quietly. he was way out of it. he had been tired and fell directly to sleep. he had figured she wouldn't like people in the cabin, but he was dog tired and knew he would sleep through it, so it was like he wasn't there. he wasn't going to wake up while she was nude.

Calico sighed, making sure her back was to him just in case. She bathed as quickly as she could, then dried off and dressed all in a matter of minuites.

Jason opened his eyes just as she got her last boot on. he sat up and yawned, looking over at her. "oh well perfect timming" he said smiling at her.

Jason shrugged. "maybe so but i don't mind giving up the bed for you until i get another one" he said sliding off the bed and onto the floor.

Calico smiled, "Normally, I would decline, but for this case, I'm not sleeping in a room with a bunch of men. Namely, your crew. I've had enough of naked pirates to last me a lifetime."

Jason laughed. "well with me i'll keep my pants on, but sorry i sleep without a shirt." he said. he wouldn't sleep on the bed unless she asked him too.

Jason smiled at her. "sleeping it's totally up to you. i go to bed at random so it doesn't matter much." he said stretching. "i nap throughout the day so i can do whatever whenever" he said.
