The officer nodded several times, awkward and nervous, before rushing off to do as Arius had asked. Anli surveyed the area, rubbing her chin. "Fuck..." She sighed, eyes fixing on the grouping of body bags. "We're dealing with some pro-human group, either anti-alien or anti-turian..."

Anli moved from the crime scene, heading to a nearby alleyway. She pulled a skintight suit over her dancing outfit, a lightly armored catsuit colored in blue as per the normal C-Sec uniform codes.

Near the absolute center of the blast, a piece of shrapnel was wedged into the ground. Anli returned to the scene, kneeling a few fate away from him and inspecting the burn marks.

The piece was horribly burnt and twisted by its ordeal, but what it was was still obvious: an arming pin for a Volus made Mass Accelerator Bomb. Anli took a moment to study it, rubbing her tentacles. "Not many ways to get that one the Citadel..."

He nodded, unsure. He was turian and they preferred to keep things within the confines of the red tape, so it unsettled him, though he knew she had a point. Now, which was worse. "If you believe it so." he slid the shard into an evidence bag, then handed it to her, "I'll let you take over."

"I don't believe that I'll need the evidence." She said, handing it back. "Feel free to file it away. But my meeting with Varick would best be kept off the proverbial books."
