The Girl in the Cardboard Box ((A one-on-one-on-one. ^^' ))

Abbey didn't seem to notice, "Pwetty!" She mused, oogling at all the lace. To her, it must look like a princess dress. Four-year-olds were easy to amuse.

Skye smiled and helped Abbey get dressed

Abbey poked her head through the top of the dress, her ears sticking straight up. She smiled brightly, showing that one of her two front teeth was missing.

Anna knocked on the door. "You two ready yet?" The food was starting to get cold from sitting out. Anna did her best to keep it warm. "If you dont hurry the food will be completely cold." She sighed and shook her head. Quietly she went downstairs and put the dish int he microwave and set it to 15 seconds. "Thats should do it." She nodded approvingly.

"Lets get you downstairs and let you eat," Skye said.

Abbey nodded and took Skye's hand, holding it close to her chest as if she were afraid Skye would vanish.

Skye led the girl back down the stairs. There was a plate sitting at the dining room table

Abbey pulled Skye to the table, making her sit down before she did, "Yummy!" She squealed in delight after tasting the food, "You awre an exewwent chwef!"

Anna smiled. "Thank you, abbey." She sat down at her seat and opened ar jar of cherries. "Yuuummmm~!" She whispered and then started eating.

Skye laughed when Abbey made her sit down.

Abbey watched Skye laugh and smiled. It made her happy to make Skye and Alice happy. She looked over at Alice eating the cherries... they looked so juicy...

Anna noticed Abbey staring. She looked at the cherries then at Abbey. She smiled. "Want some?"

Abbey nodded vigorously.

Skye smiled as Abbey nodded, "Ew," She said. Skye had never liked Cherries, even has a human.

Anna stuck out her tongue at skye and handed Abbey 3 cherries. "They're really sweet, but delicious." Anna's eyes sparkled when she looked at them.

Abbey tentatively took one, eating it like one would eat an expensive chocolate. She savored the flavor, sighing in delight, "Dewwiciuws!"

Anna smiled, then turned her head towards skye and showed her a victorious grin. "Told you they were good."

Skye shook her head, "To each their own, I guess. I didnt like them though, even when I could eat them. I thought they were rather fowl," She pinched up her face.

"What's fowwel mean?" Abbey asked innocently.

"I thought that they were nasty," Skye said, "Fowl can mean different things when used in different ways,"

"Oh." Abbey said, amused by the word, her small lips sounding it out a few times, but her lisp making it impossible to say it without a few extra w's.

Skye laughed as Abbey said the word. She's so cute She though

Abbey looked up, tilting her head to the side in a childish display of curiosity, "What's swo funny?"

"Nothing," She said with a smile.

Ana was finished with her meal and walked to the kitchen. She cleaned her plate. "Im gonna go upstairs and read for a bit," she smiled. "See you later then." She walked up to her room and started reading one of the books she got at the library. She hasnt read a book in a month and this one was actually very interesting. The cover was decorated in many swirling lines with roses all over. The title of the book was fading though. She smiled and started reading chapter 5.
