Bella looked back up at Jason, her green eyes searching for something unknown, "What about you? Do you dream in color or in black and white?"

Jason looked into her green eyes with his golden ones. "when i dream, i dream of happy times, past, present and future. during those dreams, i only see the color and beauty of the moment. though when such dreams sink into sadness, the world becomes dark and only do i see in black and white" he said summing up how his dreams worked.

"I dream in black and white." She said, looking back out the window, "It might be because my mind just can't comprehend color unless it's truly there, or it might be because I need for at least something to be simple in this life."

Bella looked back at him, her eyes still searching, "And what truly is simple here in this world? People are far from simple and my mind can turn anything into something as complex as the labyrinth."

Jason looked into her eyes. "maybe when you look at a broad spectrum of things it is complicated, but try simplifying things. life may be complicated, but not all of its parts are" he said

Jason gently hugged her. "well i'll help you get past it somehow" he said, though he wasn't sure how he could do that at the present moment.

Bella looked toward Kyira's cell. She had been too quiet for too long. Was something going on in there?

Kyira laid with her back to Jason and Bella, her side moving slightly. She was asleep, and had been for a good long while.

Bella suddenly screamed, "KYIRA!"

Jason winced at the sudden screaming in his ears. he pickd up the rifle he had stolen from the guards as he looked over towards kyira's cell, wondering what was wrong.

Jason couldn't help but laugh. he still found it funny, even though one of his ears was bleeding from being yelled right next to. he liked bella, especially the fun side.

Kyira pulled out her bag of chocolate and swallowed about half of it, grinned an angry grin and turned back around.

"Better early than late." Bella said wistfully, as if caught between reality and a dream world. That seemed to be the way Bella always was: drifting just beyond reach.

for jason, dreaming was something he wasn't too good at. seeing so much death in the war had robbed him of anything save for harsh reality. on occasion he could find dreams, but too often were they easily put out.

Bella snapped out of her trance as a guard came around, looked at the broken door quizzically, then moved them into Kyira's cell until the door could be fixed.
