Brave New World: Part 2

Adrian smiled and waited for her to return.

Addy came back a little while later with a small child resting on her back, sleeping.

"Turn it." He said simply.

"Explain that process to me, please." Addy said simply.

"Bite it, drink from it, then feed it your own blood." He said.

Addy nodded, "Thank you." She set the sleeping child down, tilting it's head to the side, drinking from it's neck.

Adrian crossed his arms and watched.

The child didn't even seem to wake as Addy almost drained it completely. She bit her wrist, then let her blood drip onto the child's lips.

Adrian continued to watch.

The child seemed to wake as the blood touched it's mouth, craning up for it, as though thirsting for more.

"Now end it." Adrian said.

Addy pulled back her wrist, "Stop or kill it?" She asked.

"Kill." He said unemotionally.

Addy shoved her fist into it's chest, pulling out the child's heart and using a nearby piece of silverware to stake it to the wall. "How's that for you?" A merciless look was in her eyes, and the moonlight seemed to almost make her look wild. Her hair was more shaggy and everywhere, on top of her long nails, which now more resembled claws, and her teeth looked more like fangs. Wolf fangs.

Adrian smiled slightly. "Very well. We're ready."

Addy blinked, looking up, "Ready for what?"

"To return."

Addy smirked, a certain odd maliciousness in her voice, "Excellent..."

"Eager?" He asked.

"A little." she said, looking back out the window. Something about her seemed.. wrong.

"Come along." He said, walking towards the door.

Addy followed him, her eyes watching the things around her with some odd awareness that couldn't be placed.

Soon enough, they were on a ship bound for America.

Dianne waited for them by the docks, not sure if Akahando had followed her here or not.
