Brave New World: Part 2

Addy nodded, "It's alright. I don't blame you."

Dianne looked from him to Ming, who was still in her hand above the ground, "Why should I? I'll give you a chance to argue your case."

"Anyways... let's go inside." He said, stepping towards the mansion.

"Because she's not involved in this." He said.

Addy followed him in, looking at the interior, still in awe.

"She is a friend of yours; I can gain so much by her being here... Pulling a child into this mess doesn't weigh on my conscience." Dianne chuckled, squeezing her neck once as she fell limp in her hands. "I'll take her with me. Come and find me and I'll tell you how you can keep her safe."

Adrian smiled. "You like?"

Akahando looked down and nodded.

Dianne blew a kiss, laughed, then was gone.

Addy nodded, "I love it."

After a few moments, Akahando was off to find her.

Adrian smiled. "That's good; follow me, I'll show you to a room." He said, walking off.

Addy followed him, "Thank you."

The scent was easy to follow. She clearly hadn't tried to detour him.

Adrian nodded. "You're welcome." He said, opening the door to a rather luxurious room.

Akahando followed the scent to it's source.

It led up to a large, semi-finished castle on a hill. The gate was open.

Addy seemed surprised, "Wow... Am I staying here?"

Akahando went through the gate, retaking his human form.

He smiled and nodded. "Of course."

"This is... nice..." she ran her hand along the bed sheets, "What is this?" she asked.

The doors were all open, the scent going down into a cellar.

He smiled. "It's a bed. You sleep in it." He told her.

Akahando walked down to the cellar.

"I've always slept on the ground..." she blushed, "I've never seen anything like this..."

Dianne was leaning against one of the walls as the cellar started to look more like a dungeon, complete with cells.

He smiled. "Get in. See what it's like."

Akahando stepped into the dungeon. "What did you do with her?"

"Nothing. She's still asleep." Dianne promised him.

Addy sat on it, "Wow.. It's soft..."

He smiled. "One if the finest."

"What are you going to do with her?"

Addy smiled, "You're too kind..."

"It depends; I won't do anything to her if you listen to me." Dianne said simply, "First off, though, I'm quite thirsty. If you could bring me something to drink from the village... Either yours or ours, it matters not to me... then I won't be forced to tide myself over with the child's blood."

"You've got me. I'm not sacrificing someone else when you can just take me."

Adrian smiled. "I'll owe it to you."

"Your blood is disgusting. I've tasted it before." Dianne argued.

Addy nodded, "I'll take your word for it."

He crossed his arms. "And here I thought you were sooo eager to exert your control over me."

He smiled a bit. "Well, anyway, I'll leave you to rest. You must be tired from the trip." He said. "If you need me, follow my scent." He said, begining to walk away.

Addy nodded, resting her head on the pillow and quickly falling asleep.

"I am; you just taste bad. So, bring me someone to drink, or I'll be drinking from the girl. What's her name again? Something asian.... Oh yeah! Ming."

Adrian smiled and went off to his room.

Akahando grumbled and left, returning shortly after with a white man, unconscious, which he set at Dianne's feet.

Dianne chuckled, "Thank you." she picked him up, sinking her fangs into his neck and drinking him dry, "Thank you very much. I was quite thirsty."

"I could tell." He said, looking at the corpse.

"Better him than the child, though, am I right?" Dianne asked.
