Artemis nodded a bit, groaning lightly, "What happened? I don't remember anything..."

"I... I don't know. You were attacked... by someone... thing... and you were covered in lacerations."

Artemis exhaled again, "I'm guessing that's why my whole torso hurts?"

He nodded slowly. "Do you have any idea what happened?"

"No... I remember going to sleep, then waking up here. Nothing in between."

"Sore." She answered honestly, though her voice had the sort of ring that it was worse and she just wasn't saying so.

Artemis chuckled a bit, knowing she wasn't getting anywhere with him without her being honest. "In a lot of pain. Seems like everything hurts at once."

He smiled slightly. "That's better. I'll get a nurse." He said, standing up.

Artemis exhaled, closing her eyes as she waited for him to return.

He came back with some medicine and a glass of water, which he handed to her.

He shrugged. "I don't know how the rest of the world manages, but they've done well without me, I'm sure you could." He said, smiling.
