"Mmm, so what are you getting?" Kyira asked as she laid her head down on her arms and looked up at Kalvin.

"Probably a pasta something. I like to try something new every time I'm here."

"Chicken alfredo doesn't sound bad. But that garlic shrimp stuff they have at Chinese places...oh god it's amazing." Kyira said with a childish grin.

Kalvin smiled, "Then order that."

"I just thought up something very funny and I have to tell you. I'll take a order of that with a side order of sexy beast,and by sexy beast I mean you." Kyira said with a laugh and a wink.

Kalvin laughed, "With or without fries?"

"Both since I'm insanely greedy."

"Hm... I think I can do that." Kalvin chuckled.

"Grand, and you're paying for this. I have no cash from this city left on me." Kyira said with a laugh as a waiter appeared.

"I was going to anyway."

Kalvin smiled, "Thank you." There was a girl sitting on a street corner with blonde tousled hair falling loosely around her face, and little to no clothes on. Kalvin pointed at her, "She looks like Di's crowd."

"Maybe she knows something, our leads so far pretty much suck,you know?"

Kalvin nodded, "You're right. You want to talk to her or shall I?"

"I don't do hooker talk as well as you probably I'd end up smacking her..." Kyira trailed off.

Kalvin chuckled, walking up to the girl, "Excuse me, miss?"
She looked up, her hair falling over her eyes, she tossed it back, "Hey, cutie. Need a date?" she looked back at Kyira, "Hm.., Never seen you here before."

"Not frequent visitors." Kyira mumbled to herself.

The girl chuckled, Kalvin shaking his head. "No, I just need to ask some questions. A friend of ours should have been hair fairly recently. She's pretty tall and has bright red hair. Have you seen her?"
She nodded, "Dianne Ward? Yeah, I've seen her. She's one of my best friends."

Kyira cocked her head to the side then shook it silently.
Of course she would be...
Kyira sighed.

Kalvin nodded, "That's who we're looking for. She died a few days ago, but she left a note saying she left something for us here."
The girl nodded, "I know Dianne's dead. She told me last time I saw her that she was going home to die. But, she said that I was supposed to give this to a Kyira Valo." she said, digging through her bag.

Kyira stepped forward.
"And that would be me."

The girl handed the box to Kyira, "Take it. It's been nothing but a pain in my a** since I got it."

"How's it been a pain in the butt?"

"Everyone keeps asking me about it. And they can't tell me that they are Kyira to try and take the box, because of my talent. It's impossible to lie around me. More of a nuisance than anything."
