Jason jumped almost all the way to the cieling. "sheesh i'm a ghost and i get spooked" he said rubbing his eyes as he floated there.

"should i dissappear or just hang around?" he asked floating way from the door so he wouldn't get thumped on the way in.

"I'd go around to the front door for a little while." Adrastea said quietly.

"you got it. just don't leave me out there too long. spook slayers don't exctly like me remember" h said floating out the wal.

Adrastea laughed, "I told you, just talk to the school nurse."

"i know i know but i'm not going now" he said poking his head back in. "i'll be waiting on the front porch" he said leaving and sitting outside onher porch.

After a few seconds, the front door was opened by a huge man with black hair and red eyes, much like Adrastea's. He smiled just a bit, "Hello, Jason."

Jason ooked up slightly at the man. "hello sir" he said trying to reember the manners he was taught before he died.

Jason nodded slowly nd walked in. he wondered if adrastea had told her father what he was.

The man motioned for Jason to follow him up the stairs and into a medium-sized bedroom, "You can stay in here if you like. Addy is at the end of the hall if you need anything."

He walked outside the door, "I have to work all day tomorrow, so I'm going on to bed."

"okay sir, goodnight" he said trying to be polite. he looked around the room and sat on the bed. he had forgotten how soft a bed could be.

Morning came, and Adrastea was quick to ready herself for the school bus, not wanting to be late. Her head still felt like it was a live wire, buzzing and tingling, but she didn't need to miss class, so off to school it was.

Jason was already ready and waiting for her at the front door. he really hadn't wanted to get up, since he didn't know when he would get to sleep in a bed again.

"yes i did thank you" he said smiing back at her. "that's the first time i've slept on a real be since i died" he said blushing a bit embarassed.

Jason smiled and nodded. "i do believe that's so" he said smiling at her. "i don't mean to intrue but woul i be allowed to stay more often?" he asked.

Jason smiled. "i would hug you if i was sure you wouln't mind right now" he said happpily. he didn't want to do something she din't want him to after all.
