Adrian was where she left him, sitting on the bed in the master bedroon.

Jason laughed. "yeah i felt the same way when I rode the first one a few years ago" he said grinning at her. "would you like to try another or would you rather return to the games?" he asked offering her his arm.

Adare looked up, "As much as I'd love to stay, the sun is rising."

Dianne sighed, "He's no fun at all... Priss-pot..."

"do you want to stay with me for the day?" Jason asked looking at her. "it's closer" he pointed out.

"I don't know if it's... permitted. Dominic is apparently putting me on the council. Personally, I could care less about it, but it's the only way I can keep an eye on things. If I'd been awake this long, things wouldn't have gotten this bad."

"well just say you couldn't get back in time. slayers held you up" he said shrugging. "and my place was the only spot close enough" he said.

Dianne smiled, "I know. But, I had managed to find out some things about the staff and had them convince your family that you were on a trip."
