jason was outside. he was under an awning as it started raining. "don't know why i bother keeping people safe..." he muttered. "nine times out of ten it bites me in the a**" he said sighing.

Bella tilted her head slightly to the side, "I'd offer sympathy, but I'm still not sure why people do that to begin with. It never does any good. If you want a problem solved, then you have to just face it head-on and deal with it."
Zane walked outside, "Was I one of the nine?" He asked with a light smile.

Riot crossed his arms like an annoyed teenager, "OK, I don't get what's going on, but I'm willing to bet Kyira is going to hit me fo- DAMN!! You have a nice a**!" Riot excalimed, looking over at Kyira.
Kalvin rolled his eyes, "I'm going with Zane."

Jason shook his head. "nah you were one of the times it was worth it." he said. "i'm just not sure how worth it it was to keep bella safe" He said closing his eyes.

Jason sighed. "not really like i was pretending, since i do turn into them..." he said sighing. he lay against the wall. "i wasn't trying to mislead her either, i was just trying to help. that was one of the nine times i get bit in the a** for trying to help" he muttered.

Zane thought for a second, "Maybe if you would have just come as yourself, she would not have reacted so... badly." he smiled, "But I guess that's a light way to put it. She seems like the shyer type to me. Maybe you just need to give her some time."

Zane shrugged, "This s one of the benefits of her being human. Humans forget quickly. Give her a little while. She won't even remember this happened eventually."

Jason sighed. "yeah but who knows how long that will be?" he asked rubbing his eyes. "or if i'll have lived long enough to see it" he said reffering to his danger prone nature.

Zane shrugged, "Good point." He thought for a second, "Another thing about girls, if you are nice enough to them, they'll forgive almost anything. Especially any child of Bella's." He laughed, "She was the most gullible person I ever met. Gave everyone the benefit of the doubt."
