The Vampire Diary: Fallen Angels

Zane nodded, "Kalvin and Riot are on their way down right now. I called them a few seconds before you got here."
Bella looked up at Kyira, "What is this 'Diary' everyone keeps talking about and why did my mom have to die because of it?"

"It's a book, it contains information on every creature of this world. She died for it...to protect us, as she said in her own last written words."
Kyira shuddered a bit when she heard the twins were coming.
"You're keeping them off me."

Jason was surprized that such a book exsisted. he looked at bella with a sad expression. he didn't know how hard this must have been on her. he sat down much like a wolf on the floor, still chewing on his pony tail. he felt more than a little out of place here.

"Just Riot. You know Kalvin will stay off if you ask him." Zane chuckled a little, glad to get a little comedy after all of this. He looked over at Jason, "So, what happened to you? I mean, you vanish all of a sudden, and now here you are."

Kyira watched Bella, seeing her old friend inside Bella II.
"Well, Riot knows I'll punch him if he touches me..."

Zane chuckled, "I'm going to catch up with Jason a little outside. You can rest if you want, or you can sit here with the human. Your pick. I don't think she'll run off though."
"I'm right here, you know." Bella rolled her eyes and flung herself back on the couch, pulling her legs up against her chest.

Kyira nodded and leaned against a wall across the room, watching Bella warily.

Jason stood and walked outside with zane. "well it's a long story and trust me, it's a far fetched one" he said. "you probably wouldn't believe most of it if i told you" he said sitting against the wall, his pony tail finally free from the chewing.

"I have time. And besides," he smiled, "You of all people should know I'm notoriously curious."
Bella looked up, starting to take out her Ipod, but deciding not to. This girl could tell her what she needed to know, "WHat was my mom like?" She asked.

"She was a sweet woman, always thinking of everyone else more than of herself. She was a true person, someone we could all look up to. And when it came to your father...she was more in love with him than anyone could ever be. She was true to him...and always would have been..."

"well if you came by my old den i'm sure you noticed it looked like a tornado ran through there. well... more so than usual. turns out some demon capturers had found me. they did a quick test on me and found i had been around you. well obviously they wanted answers, like where you were and who you were and what you could do. of course, i told them nothing. hence why you were never bothered. but of course they beat me regularly" he said pointing to the scars on his face. "about a hundred years ago i managed to escape and i've been ran until i lost them. so then i started looking for you but you've upgraded your style of living since we last met" he said referring to the house. "can't tell you how hard it was to find you" he added.

Bella nodded, glad that her mother was a good person. "How long did you know her?"
Zane nodded, "I can't tell you how much that means to me. And if there was any way I could have helped you find me, you know I would have. I honestly was convinced you were dead."

"I've known her for almost over a century. She was probably my best friend, seeing as she was the only person who could get through and show me what made sense and what didn't."

Jason nodded. "yeah i might as well have been. those sadistic b******s took a picture of me and how they made me" he said pulling one out. the scars on his face were still open in that picture, his shirt was off and his flesh cut up. his ribs were visible through his skin in the picture too. he almost looked dead. "they made good and sure i didn't die. they wanted to know exactly where you were." he said again.

Bella nodded, "What was her family like? I mean, can you tell me about her past? Like her childhood?"
Zane nodded, "Again, thank you. You kept me safe for who knows how long."

Jason nodded. "you don't need to thank me old friend. i'm just glad to be out of that hellhole." he said. "do you happen to have a room available for me? i'm still as poor as ever i'm afraid' he said smiling a bit sheepishly.

"Her parents, weren't the best. Her father especially, seeing as he shot his wife, killing her and then trying to kill Bella. They were rich, very rich, and well respected. She had a sister, I don't remember her name, but they were close."

How could her mother's father try to kill both her mother and his wife? Bella guessed that it didn't matter what a person's background was, they could still turn out to be good people, "Thanks." Bella smiled. It was the same half-smile that the first Bella always gave.
Zane nodded, smiling and hugging his old friend. It had been far too long. "Of course. Bella's room is still here. Knowing her, she would have wanted you to stay there."

Kyira nodded and shivered a bit.
"Great..."
She heard Riot's perverted thoughts as they neared the house.

Riot ran up to the house as fast as he could, running staight past Zane, talking so fast that his words were no more understandable than "HeyzaneiskyirahereBYE!"
Kalvin on the other hand was walking at a more leasurely pace, still going in a light jog to keep up with his brother, "I'll get him." He sighed, grabbing his brother's arm and pulling him away from Kyira, "Sorry." He grimaced.

Kyira shut her eyes tightly and counted to 10. She then let out a deep sigh and opened her eyes.
"Okay, I'm good. Hello Kalvin...Riot..."

Adrian walked along the road that lead to Bella's house, closely followed by Nathan. Nathan began to speak, saying, "Hey, Ad, where are we going?"
And was replied to by a grunt from Adrian and, "I'm going to visit an old friend, you're just following me. I doubt you'd remember her though. But you two are a lot alike...."
He was interrupted by Nathan who said, "Oh! Is it Bella and Marcello? I remember them! Bella was so hap-"
"Do you ever shut up?!" Adrian interrupted and Nathan quieted down for a moment. A few minutes later, Nathan began again. "When was the last time you saw Bella?"
"A few years ago, when you, thankfully, weren't traveling with me."
"Ah, well, last time I saw-"
"Nathan, I don't care."
"But its a good story!"
"My God man, will you stop your incessant chattering and enjoy the damned silence?!" Adrian shouted.

Riot pulled free of his brother's grip, "Hey Kyira." He smiled with a quick nod of his head in an attempt to look cool. He was failing. Miserably.
Kalvin rolled his eyes.
Sorry about him.
Hey! I heard that!

Kyira facepalmed.
You have to live with him, so I feel bad for you.
"Bella, these two are Riot and Kalvin. Riot is the idiot, Kalvin is the normal one."

Bella chuckled a little, the two boys were cute. Annoying as hell, but cute. She put her headphones in her ear and walked outside, "Hey, Zane? I'm going to walk around for a bit. The book is inside still."
Zane sighed, "Alright, but don't go too far and come back."
Bella nodded, "Mmk."
She continued to walk down the road, eventually running into what looked like a bickering old gay couple.
