Brayden sighed and ran his hands through his hair.
"Mystique, where's the other emo child hiding at?"

"Salt?" Mystique smiled, "He's downstairs, right Al?" she asked, actually wondering herself. He was kinda cute.

AJ came stomping up the stairs from the basement and kicked the door open, making it smack against the wall. He walked up to Brayden and Reighn, like he was going to say something, but Alesana came back with two soy fudge pops. She shoved one in AJ's mouth before he could talk.

Mystique tilted her head to the side, "What were you going to say, AJ?"

Reighn was so close to bursting into tears it wasn't even funny. She always knew these two hated her, but she never understood why. Brayden knew AJ hated him just because he could.
Brayden sighed and hugged Reighn close.
"Could you please refrain from doing that? I'd like to have my best friend happy not about to cry any minute."

"What?" Alesana said innocently. She didn't know why they always thought she and AJ hated them. She didn't hate them but AJ kinda did, just because he could speak almost every language except Finnish.

Mystique sighed, "Maybe the mademonselle needs to rest a bit..." She said, taking Reighn up stairs with her arm around her shoulder, leaving AJ, Al, and Brayden all alone together in the same room.

Brayden shifted his weight to his other foot and sighed. Reighn had been growing less and less like herself since they ordered this new life. She used to be wild and crazy, now she was more quiet and self contained.
Reighn walked beside Mystique and frowned. She really hated making Brayden worry about her like he did.
