Jason kept back a safe distance, following silently. He hardly could keep from chuckling, knowing how anxious he was making them.

"It's a little ways out of the main hustle and bustle of the city. Quiet." she said, not wanting to give away too much while they were being followed.

"Do we need to pick up any supplies on our way there?" Aya asked, keeping track of the person behind them. They walked about a mile before she snapped. Aya turned around and yelled: "Why don't you grow a pair, and stop hiding in the shadows!?"

"eh I was just wondering how long it would take for it to bug you" his voice said, echoing around a bit. He came out from behind a building, walking calmly towards them. "relax, If I wanted to hurt you I would have" he said holding up his hands to show he wasn't hiding anything.

"Alright. Why don't you start by telling me who you are?" Aya asked, suspicious.

"Jason Amaroq, at your service" he said bowing a bit. He was going a bit out of his way to make it known he was not a threat.

"Well, I'm Aya." She said and nodded her head. "If my companion wishes to say her name, then she will."

Jason nodded. "fair enough" he said. "so how have you been faring thus far? obviously rather well since you ARE alive" he said with a nod.

Aya nodded. "Things are manageable..." She muttered. Her Irish accent coming on thick. "I came here to visit, but wasn't able to go home. It has been so long, I don't even know if I have a home left to go back to if I was able to make it back to Ireland." She paused and recollected herself. Tears were never a sign of strength. "How about you, Jason?"

"manageable. so far i've gone pretty much unnoticed thankfully" he said. "the only occasions a fight started I was able to get through allright" he said.

"At least that is something good to talk about." Aya laughed. Then pulled her flask out of her bag and took a swig. "Want some? It's vodka. Keeps ya warm when the night gets cold."

Jason shook his head. "no thanks. vodka does to me what rage does to bruce banner" he said chuckling a bit.

Aya nodded. "Probably better for ya not to have any then." She put the flask away. "So, what were you doing before you started following us?"

"not unless you want a crazy drunk psychopath... as for what i was doing... well nothing much actually" he admitted

Aya laughed. "So you got bored and decided to follow us?"

Guest

"long story short... yes" he said chuckling. "can you blame a guy for following two attractive girls?" he asked.

Aya blushed but continued to laugh at Jason. "Two attractive girls huh?" She smiled. "You don't see us following attractive girls around, nor guys for that matter!"

"true, but I also can't see how you could FIND anything attractive around here" he said. "I just got lucky" he said grinning.

Simply laughs again. "So, what are your plans now?"

Guest

"well... find food, eat food, find shelter, sleep in shelter... My plans are pretty basic right now" he said rubbing the back of his head.

"Now that things are like this, there is no reason to think any more complex than that. Our plans are similar." She commented looking up at the stars.

jason looked up to the stars as well. "One benefit of the current situation.. the stars are much easier to see." he remarked as his eyes traced the stars.

Aya chuckled. "Now, isn't that the truth." She sighed. "And a beautiful sight they are."

Jason nodded. "too true" he agreed. He looked at the many constellations he had learned. "whoever made the constellations must have either been really creative, or just plain stoned to see anything in that mass" he said.

"Do you not believe that the gods created these magnificent constellations?" She laughed. "Or do you believe that a group of nerds played connect the dots?"
