Jason's eyes softened. "if you want you can stay with me" he offered. if she was in the same boat as him why shouldn't they end each other's loneliness?

Bella smiled, "That would be nice. At least until you get tired of me and kick me out." She laughed weakly.

Jason frowned. "i would never do that" he said. he was hurt to think she would even consider that he would do something so awful.

Jason held up his pinky finger. "i promise i won't" he said. he wondered if he was the first one to promise this way as well.

Jason pouted. "well can i help it if i'm not very creative?" he asked shrugging. "well i'm the first one to mean it and will follow through with it" he said.

Jason laughed. "okay i'll hush" he said. he lay back on the bed and looked at the cieling. "so what do you want to do?"

"Right now," Bella smiled, "I'm thirsty. But, I usually take care of that on my own."

Jason smiled at her. "well if you want you can take some of my blood. since i'm a half breed i still have blood" he said.

Bella shook her head, "I wouldn't dream of taking from you. After you've done so much for me already, I just don't think it would feel right."

Jason smiled at her. "as long as you don't drink me dry i don't mind in the least" he said truthfully. he looked up at her wondering why she would have a probelem taking his blood.

"but i do know what i'm giving. i'm just giving a bit of blood" he said shrugging. He wondered what she knew that he didn't about what he was offering to give.

Bella stood, only about five feet tall, which was considerably shorter than Jason, "You would be giving so much more than that." She sighed, "You'd be giving life to a monster." she turned away, looking out toward the sky, though she couldn't see it.

Jason was noticeably confused. "what do you mean?" he aasked tilting his head to the side like a confused puppy. he was almost as adorable with this look too.

Bella looked at him with an expression of sympathy, "You really don't understand what an evil, loathsome creature I am, do you?"

Jason tilted his head more. "okay you're pulling my leg now" he said. he couldn't figure out how she could be evil.

Bella sighed, her body trembling with an unknown fear, "I-I'm a murderer, Jason. I-I've killed so many... and it was for... nothing... It was pointless."
