Sonya nodded, smiling lightly, then laughing, "Sorry to bore you with my reminiscing. I can't even really remember what home was like."

"If you would be so kind." He said, gathering some stuff.

He smiled. "Nah, it's fine. I don't mind at all."

Estelle nodded, gathering some things as well.

He nodded a bit. "Yeah, sort of." He said.

He smiled a bit before shooting the pile of stuff, producing a roaring fire.

Estelle bowed her head lightly, "Thank you." she said, chopping off a piece of whatever the thing was.

He smiled and stabbed it with a slender stick, which he then shoved into the fire.

"Now, is this going to work like marshmallows where you light it on fire, blow it out, then eat it?" Estelle joked.

"I've been in and out of foster homes for my entire life, and had to deal with several abusive families. I've got all sorts of views."

He smirked. "I'd cook it a bit more if I were you, though."

"I was disowned. So not as bad. Just not that great."

Estelle nodded, "So light it up twice?"

He smiled a bit and cut off his own chunk.

"Eighteen." He said.

She nodded, "I was passed around a lot after I turned twelve. That was when my biological parents were arrested for child abuse."

Estelle lit it on fire, blew it out, then did it again, "So, this is edible?"

"You learn to accept it and move on. There is nothing to really apologize for, anyways. What's done is done." Sonya said simply. Laying still like she was, there were scars visible on her arms and legs, as well as a few on her face.
