Blood of the Innocent pt. 2

Adare's condition didn't seem to improve, her usual mental barrier down completely as her face tightened into an expression of pain. There were stories... More legends, actually, that told of an phase in incredibly old vampires that resembled a caterpillar's cocoon. It wouldn't kill them, instead going several nights of pain until the vampire awoke, made stronger by it.

Dianne smiled, her usual seductive expression more of a soft and tender one, "Thank you, Adrian."

Leah smirked, "I brought rope."

Jason let himself into her mind. He knew a whole lot about how the mind works, and he shut down several pain receptors to take the pain to an acceptable level.

Adrian smiled and nodded, hugging her. "I love you."

Dominic grinned. "Really? Perfect." He asked.

Adare's expression relaxed, her head still resting on his shoulder.

Dianne hugged him back, resting one hand on his chest, "I love you, too, Adrian. More than I thought possible."

Leah wrapped it around her hands and pulled it tight, letting it snap, "C'mon, now."

Jason smiled softly at her. "it's times like this that mental prowess really comes in handy" he said softly as he held her close.

Adrian smiled. "I know, right? I never saw this happening... I mean, I always wanted it, I just never thought it would come into being...."

*blackout for Dominic and Leah...*

Dianne chuckled, "I never thought I would let myself fall in love. But, now that it's happened, I see that it wasn't my choice to make."

Adare woke as if her body were made of lead, "I feel so heavy..."

Adrian smiled a bit. "Of course. Because my will is law."

Jason nodded. "it's alright it's because i had to turn most of your nerves off in order to rout the pain" he said softly as he held her close. "it's alright."

Dianne laughed, pulling him close playfully, before whispering in his ear, "Can I ask for a favor, then, your highness?" she smiled seductively, "F*ck me. Hard."

Adare nodded, "What's happening to me?"

Adrian grinned and whispered. "One condition- get on you knees and beg for it."

"i can only say from the legends. old vampires eventually reach a time when they get a sort of painful hill. once they get over that hill they are stronger than before" he said softly to her. "and i'll kep the pain off until it's done" he said.

Adare nodded, resting her head back, her skin as cold as ice.

Dianne moved onto her knees, a pleading look in her eyes, "Please, your majesty?"

Jason held her close and pulled a blanket over them to keep them warm.

Adrian laughed and did as she had asked. Repeatedly. AKA, "Blackout."

Leah smiled, sitting on Dominic's stomach, "How does that do it for you."

Adare held onto him as though she were a sick child holding onto her teddybear.

Dianne exhaled, "Thank you, your highness."

Jason kept her close and didn't let go. He was glad to be there to help her.

"Divine." Dominic mused from below her.

Adrian grinned. "I like this new terming."

Dianne smiled, "I bet you do."

Leah smiled, "Thank you. I try."

"You succede." He said.

Adrian nodded. "But what should I call you?"

Dianne thought, "Doesn't really matter to me. I've always either been 'Dianne' or 'you whoring b*tch'." she joked.

Leah smiled, "Should I untie you now?"

He laughed a bit. "Would you like me to call you that, then?"

Dominic grinned. "Nah. It hurts good."

Leah smiled, "Then lay down at take it like a man." she almost commanded.
*blackout*

"I'd rather you didn't, actually. Those who have called me by the latter of those two names more often than not end up dead."

Adrian smiled and kissed her. "As you wish, love."

Dianne smiled, kissing him back, "That one I like."
