Ben opened the SOEIV pod and waited for get to step in and strap in.

MC stepped into the pod and started strapping herself in.

MC chuckled, "Should I hold on, too?"

He laughed. "No, you're the one that's strapped in." He said as the doors closed.

He grinned back. "Yeah. Deffinitly."

MC held onto his hand, smiling under her helmet.

He smiled as a red light began to flash, making him look up. It wasn't normal.

MC looked up as well, "That doesn't look good."

"It's not...." He mused as other ODST's, armed, began to load into the other SOEIV's.

"Sh*t..." MC sighed, "Not good looking at all."

"No, it's not." He said as he, along with the other ODST's, got a coomlink message. "Covenant ship showed up. ODST's are landing on it."

"Uh... we're going anyway. Pod's are either shot one at a time or all at once. To shoot that many pods, you can't do it all at once. Hold on." He told her as the thirty secomnd countdown started.

And they dropped. Well, rather, were shot. The pods shot off,m descending quickly towards the earth. Once they were through the clouds, they could see the Cvenant ship underneath.

MC held on, seeming a bit unnerved, but no more so than she had been when she thought the glass room would break under her.

Ben's visor blacked out again, apparently getting another transmission.

"Uh... no, it's not. The ship's going into a lightspeed jump- we'll be hit by the impact." He said.

"Yeah... hold on. Tight." He said, looking at the ship, which started to glow.
