Brave New World: Part 1

Ming smiled, "Aww, c'mon! Pleeease?"

Akahando smiled a bit. "Well... it's a few. Sort of. It's just based on looks, not personality, though."

Ming nodded, "But who?" she asked, clearly enjoying trying to get Akahando to tell.

Akahando smiled a bit. "Well, Yoko is kind of cute, but Nihlus is interested in her more than I am, and Shanoa is really beautiful, and I think she may even like me, and..." He said, his eyes diverting to Addy for a moment, but to cover that little slip, he saud, "And, hey, maybe if you were older... no, scratch that, maybe when you're older. It doesn't seem that we age."

Ming laughed, "Thank you. I just like knowing these things. Don't worry, I won't tell."

Akahando smiled. "All right thanks."

Ming nodded, "No problem." she looked out the door as a female voice called her name, her mother calling her home. Ming sighed, "See you, Akahando!"

"Goog bye, Ming. Be careful." Akahando said, smiling.

Ming waved, "Bye!"

Akahando nodded and waved back.

After a few hours, about when the sun was rising, Adrastea woke up, her body having healed the rib and her leg already because of it's healing abilities. She rolled over a bit, grunting lightly, "Akahando, can you help me get this brace off?" She asked.

"Sure." Akahando said as he loosened some of the straps and pulled it over her head, making sure to keep his hands to himself.

Adrastea exhaled deeply, glad to be free of the brace. "Thanks."

"No problem." Akahando said. "How do you feel?" He asked.

"Sore." She responded with a light smile.

Akahando shrugged and smiled. "Better than broken."

"That one's still lingering a bit." she said with a sigh, "I hate feeling... incapacitated."

"It could be worse." He said.

Adrastea nodded, "They weren't quite done with me when you got there."

"It's good that I arrived when I did, then." He said, smiling.

Adrastea nodded, "The timing was perfect."

He nodded. "Did you learn anything of them? Motives, habits... anything could help."

"The red-haired one likes sex." she winced, "The other seems to just want answers more than anything."

Akahando thought a moment. "I guess that helps...."

Adrastea thought, "She didn't seem to care too much about anything, but the other was, believe it or not, making an attempt at hospitality."
