Brave New World: Part 1

Adrastea nodded, "They don't seem to like the daylight, though. I wonder if their is anything else that they are weak against."

Akahando shrugged. "Your teeth seemed to do some damage."

Adrastea nodded, "She may heal fast like us, too, though."

Akahando nodded. "It would make sense." Akahando said.

Adrian sat up. "Heh... wow... that was interesting." He said, tossing the whip aside.

Dianne laughed, "But yet very amusing."

Adrastea nodded, looking over at the door. Their shaman was taking a while. Adrastea hoped he was OK.

((Whops, forgot about that.))
Adrian pouted a little. "Just amusing?"

Akahando nodded as the shaman shuffled back in with his salve.

Dianne laughed, kissing Adrian's cheek, "You know I love to understate things."

Adrastea looked over at Akahando, wondering if he was going to say anything about her rib, or if she would.

Adrian smiled and laughed a little. "True, true."

Akahando nodded a little. "She has also broken two ribs, Uktena." The old man sighed a little and set the salve down. "Apply that to her... I'll go make a brace." He said, leaving.

Adrastea bowed her head in a silent thank you, trying to hold back a yawn.

Dianne smiled, "So, what are you thinking?"

Adrian made a concerned face. "Why your arm still hasn't healed up yet, and when we should go get the... shifter."

Akahando nodded and put the salve on her arm and knee.

Dianne shrugged, "The arm isn't as bad as you seem to think it is and I say we wait just a few more minutes."

Adrastea smiled a bit, "Thank you."

Adrian shook his head. "I'm worried because it hasn't healed... I mean, that's not normal. And they'll be expecting us tonight, maybe whe should get her tomorrow when she'll be asleep."

Akahando smiled and nodded. "No problem."

((mmk. I need to go anyways.))

Dianne nodded and smiled, "You know best."

Adrastea was slipping in and out of sleep. It was weird for her to feel this tired. Maybe it was just her age setting in a bit.

((Kk, see yah. Had to fix breakfast >_> Chocolate soymilk and Frosted Flakes.))

Adrian smiled and nodded. "Oh, I know."
Akahando smiled a bit and pushed her onto her back, putting the blanket back ontop of her. Even if she didn't mind being naked, he still had raging teenage hormones. "You look like you need to sleep. I'll wake you when the shaman gets back."

Adrastea nodded sleepily, falling asleep quickly.

Akahando woke her when the shaman returned, and with a light blush put her brace across her torso. "You won't be able to shift while wearing this, or it will break all of your ribs before snapping off." The shaman said before leaving again. Akahando put the blanket back over Addy before going to bed himself.

Adrian smiled. "We should go in a few more minutes."

Dianne smirked, "I'm ready to go when you are."

Adrian nodded and stood up. "Remember Dianne; we sneak in, get her, then sneak out. No noise whatsoever."

Dianne nodded, doing the lock-and-key gesture over her lips.

Adrian smiled. "Good. Now, let's go." He said, sprinting off.

Dianne followed him, not making a single sound.

Adrian turned to mist as they reached the village, driftig between the logs in the wall.

Dianne followed, going into her mist form as well.

Adrian rematerialized in Akahando's hut, next to Addy's bed.

Dianne joined him soundlessly, an eye for revenge when she saw Adrastea, though she didn't try anything.
