"Fine then. You can play with the corpse when I'm done." Dianne smiled.

Adrian grimmaced. "That's creepy...."

He shrugged a bit. "Well, what did you mean by 'play with the corpse'?" He asked.

"Your research thing. What did you think I- oh. Never mind." Dianne laughed, "Well, we can talk this over in a sec."
Adrastea shifted back into her wolf form and assumed an attack stance.

Adrian shrugged. "Yeah." He said.

Akahando, like Addy, wolfed.

Dianne bent down a bit, then pounced on Adrastea. Adrastea kicked her off and jumped back to her, biting into Dianne's arm.

"Dianne!" Adrian called, rushing to her side, but was intercepted mid-way by Akahando, who tackled him back.

Dianne pulled her arm out of Adrastea's grip, slinging the ancient were-wolf to the ground, "Don't worry about me, Adrian. They are just more tenacious than I first thought."

Adrian nodded a little, though he was occupied with Akahando at the moment. The werewolf tossed him into the air, but Adrian's foot came down on his face, knocking him back.

Adrastea picked herself back up, snarling and knocking Dianne down by charging her in the back of her knees. Dianne picked herself back up and grinned, "Oh, fun." she grabbed Adrastea's legs and threw her to the ground.

Akahando grabbed Adrian's shoulders and slamed him into a tree, trying to bite him while Adrian kept his away with his feet. "Dianne! This isn't working!"

Dianne sighed, "Fine. We'll leave this fight. For now." she looked Adrastea in the eye, "I'll come back for you."

Adrian dispersed into a large cloud of mist, fading through Akahando's grip and floating over towards Dianne.

Dianne waved her fingers and turned into a cloud of mist and faded back to their house. "That wasn't what I expected."

Adrian nodded a little bit, regaining his form. "Your arm... it hasn't healed yet...."

Akahando raced to Addy and unphased. "Should we follow?"

Adrastea shifted back into her human form, holding onto her right arm tightly. "Not today. We need to learn more about them. God, she was so strong..."

Dianne looked at her arm, "Hm... that's weird."

Adrian nodded. "Like if it was delt with wood or silver...."

Akahando nodded. "Like fighting a bear."

"Only different." Adrastea nodded, taking her hand off her arm for a second, the bone broken and piercing through her skin.

Dianne nodded, "I wonder how that girl did that..."

Adrian nodded. "I don't know... that's not good. We'll need to watch out for those... things."

Akahando winced a little. "I can set that, if you need me to."

Dianne nodded, "If we can catch one by its self, you can figure something out with it. You've always been the smart one."
