Edward smiled, but this time chucking just a tad "Of course. You know me, I'm not one to hold grudges. Besides, it sounds that way anyways." He paused as the reached the final step on the staircase "watch your step, looks like there's some broken glass on the floor. Must've been Rosalie having one of her fits again" he said. "She is such a drama queen sometimes"

Claire stepped delicately around the glass, careful not to touch it, as if the pieces were fine ornaments, not to be touched. She held onto his hand for balance, "Has she always been that way? Temperamental, I mean." she asked, curiosity ringing in every word.

Edward heard screaming coming from another room "she was never like this as a human. She was sweet, caring and considerate. But once she became a vampire-excuse my language- but she became a royal b*tch. I guess vampireism does that to some people." he joked

Claire jumped when she heard the scream, "Wow... If I ever turn into that, you have my permission to get rid of me..." she shuddered, stepping normally now that she had cleared the glass. Rosalie always made her a little on edge.

Edward held her close "its fine, I trust that you will never do that. Besides, your already a vampire silly." He laughed "I'm going to see what's going on in this next room. You stay here and I'll come back to get you when everything is alright. Things can get pretty hectic when it comes to Rose."

She nodded, smiling, "Hurry back." she watched him leave, not moving a single inch from where he left her. She couldn't stop herself from smiling, thinking back on all the great times they had together. They had known each other for decades, and yet had never seemed to grow tired of each other's company.

Edward walked in on a very ugly scene. Rosalie had everyone back into a corner yelling at them. Poor Esme and Alice, they should never be put through this kind of drama Edward thought. "I hate to intrude or anything, but Claire would like to speak with all of you in a calmly manner. So Rose, quit being such a drama queen and sit down" he said with a slight bitterness in his voice. Rosalie made a huffing sound and sat down on the couch. The rest of the family followed in her direction. "I'll be back with Claire, everybody behave until then" he said while he was leaving the room. Edward returned to Claire and said "sometimes I feel like a babysitter..."

Claire smiled, "I'm sorry; some people just live off of attention and there's nothing you can do about it. They have to learn to grow up on their own." she slid her arms around him, wrapping him in a warm, I-hope-you-feel-better kind of a hug. Claire always had a way of making things better.

She is not of the la push pack she is a lone wolf she was exiled for trying to befriend a vampire. She is very mysterious doesn't talk about her past she don't really trust any one.
