The King of Clouds

Jason sat down in a random spot and emptied out his most recent aquisitions. a few fresh apples, a spyglass, a compass, and some other things that he wasn't quite sure what they were.

"Ah!" Anne smiled, looking over at Jason, "Hey! Blondie! Take the wheel for a moment. Don't break anything."

Jason scooped his possesions back into his pockets, attatching his spyglass and compass to his belt as he took the wheel without bothering to say anything. right now he was trying to discern if there was anything worth stealing on this ship.

"And keep your hands where I can see 'em, pick-pocket." Anne glared at him with the one eye not covered by the patch, which happened to be more for decoration than anything.
She went into her cabin with Jericho, shoving aside the necklace and tossing the dragonfly up in the air. Sure enough, it buzzed around her head for a little while before Anne smacked it over to Jericho. "You can keep him."

Jason rolled his eyes at the pickpocket reference. he didn't usually take from pockets, he took things left out. he scanned the deck for anything that seemed to show any major value.

"Huh... interesting." Jericho said as he plucked it out of the air. "Aw, you got a collar." Jericho said, looking at the necklace.

"I thought it was cool-looking." She confessed, tucking the egg-thing under one arm.

He shrugged. "It is. Would look good on you. What's that?" Jericho asked, looking at the egg.

"No clue." Anne said, banging it on the table as it made a ringing sound much like the mosquito ringtone that made your ears hurt. "Ouch..." She said softly, "Remind me not to do that again."

Jason sighed. "nothing of value at all" he muttered sighing as he kept flying. he was already starting to regret this. there was nothing of value on this ship. then again, his theiving ways were starting to become known back there, so maybe it was for the best.

Jericho removed his hands from his ears and nodded. "Will do. So, will it hatch or something?"

"No clue." She said simply, weighing it in her hand, "I just thought I'd pick it up for the heck of it."

Jericho shrugged. "Well, it can't harm us."

Jason looked around the deck more, still searching for something at least slightly valuable, but it seemed most of the stuff here was junk. he figured they didn't let him below deck because that was where the valuables were.

Anne shrugged, "If you want to play around with it, by all means." She said, holding out the egg to him.

"I'll do that." Jericho said, taking the egg. "Why is the ship tilting sideways...?" Jericho asked, since Jason had left the wheel unattended.

Jason quickly got back to the wheel and fixed the tilt. "okay note to self, look from one place" he muttered as he made it look like he had just dozed at the wheel a bit.

Anne sighed, "I think that kid I left at the wheel might be the first one I kill." she said softly and walked out onto the deck, "You, blondie, get everyone on deck. We're going to play a game." she said to Jason as she snatched the helm from him.

Jason rolled his eyes and nodded, he ducked below deck and in just a couple of seconds he had everyone n deck. he was a little curious about what game they were going to play.

Anne smiled, "Boys, listen up. I have two things to say. One, if any of my things are missing at any point during this voyage, I'm holding all of you responsible and I will kill you in a painful manner. Two, we are going to play a name game. I don't know you and you don't know me, so we are going to find out. Everyone is going to say their name and one thing about themselves and I am going to memorize everything you say the first time you say it. Gotcha? So, I'll start. I'm Anne Revenge and I've been to every port in the sky."

Jason figured he might as well go next. "i'm Jason Amaroq, master theif and assassin" he said closing his eyes. he didn't mind saying he was a theif, Anne had it figured out already anyway. He made a mentle note to be sure to steal everything that wasn't Anne's.

"I am Jericho; nothing more, nothing less." Jericho said simply.

As all the men said their bit, some so softly no one heard what they were saying anyway, Anne nodded along, not opening her eyes until the last man spoke. She then repeated everything back to them in the order it was said, not missing a single word. She looked over at Jericho, "Did I catch it all?"

"Yep, you got it all." Jericho said.

Jason opened his eyes and watched her. he wondered what would happen next, or if he would have to kill the guy that kept making glances at his new spyglass.
