What is a fun and educational childrens activity?

Well, when I was in VBS all those years ago, we did a pretty fun activity that I thiiiiiink could work for curiosty. We filled a larger, smooth-surfaced water bottle with small colored plastic beads and put other small objects in there, too. (Like an eraser or a small army man or a paperclip) Then, they shook the bottle up and we had to see if we could find all the objects in the bottle.

Since you're an atheist, maybe checking out a Unitarian Universalist church (Google it, you'll find that we accept all religious beliefs) and seeing if they have a childrens program. No offence Bella, but a Christian church and atheist really don't mix well :)

Believe it or not, not everything we do in VbS is bible-focused. We learned how to speak a little Japaneese one year and everything.
