Rogue Shadow

Ranks:

1 - First-level: trainee, follows fours and fives on their missions for field training
2 - Second-level: sent on human assassination missions or does "odd jobs" for fourth and fifth levels
3 - Third-levels: gets sent out on an occasional demon-hunting mission, accomplished marksmen, researchers, work in upper levels doing research
4 - Fourth-Level: spys and demon hunters, masters of silent and quick killing. Can often times, kill three or four people before anyone knows that someone has been killed. More people are killed on this level than any other
5 - Fifth-levels: Martial artists and marksmen extraordinaire; only ten people fall into this category. Spend free-time training first-levels.

Biography: Angel was taken as an infant by the Rogue Shadow. When the other children were crying for their parents, Angel was usually practicing her marksmanship. She is heartless on the job, and has a seductive enough air to lead her mark to her. Off-duty, she is fun-loving and playful, as well as a notorious practical joker.


Markus Castle
Age: 46
Rank: Head of Rogue Shadow
Biography: Mr. Castle is the head of Rogue Shadow, but little about himself as a person is known. He has a dry sense of humor, as well as being the best agent int Rogue Shadow.

Name: Sterling Weiss Shepard
Age: 23
Rank: First-Level
Bio: Sterling was just recently taken into the Rogue Shadow, and is by all means still learning the ropes.

Angel walked down the stairs to the underlevels, her face stern and almost angered, blood splattered up her arm and across her face. She was wearing a small blue dress and silver shoes, with her hair curled and torn down, as though in a fight. She walked into Markus's office, where he had several first-levels in, assigning them to higher-ups for training missions. She practically threw the door out of her way, putting her bloody hands on his desk and looking him in the eyes, "A word, if you please, Mr. Castle?"
He looked at her hands, made a disgusted face, then looked back up, "Only if you promise to clean the mess off my desk when you are done."
"I thought we had an agreement? You were to tell me everything about the target before I went on assignment. I can't take you popping stuff like that on me. You said nothing about the ten-odd demon guards he had in his employment. You have to tell me about the stuff or I-"
"Oh. I forgot to mention that, didn't I? Well, your timing was perfect, I must say. Angel, I'd like you to meet your trainee, Sterling Shepard."
Angel looked over her shoulder to see which one Markus was talking about.

He smiled a bit and waved slightly. "Call me Weiss please." He said.

Angel looked him over, her gaze scrutinizing, "How good is your aim?"

He shrugged. "I don't really know. I was kind of... drafted into this."

"Good lord..." she sighed. "Mr. Castle, I'm starting to hate you."
"Sticks and stones, Angel." He chuckled, "Now remember to clean the desk."
Angel rolled her head around her shoulders, "I'll send a second-level to do it. Kid; follow me."

Weiss nodded a bit and walked after her.

Angel walked quickly, though not hurriedly. She walked into a living area, leaving the door open for Weiss as she washed the blood off of her arms.

Weiss followed her in, keeping quiet and looking around.

The room was fairly blank; just a metal bed frame with white sheets, white walls, and only the basics as far as furniture went. The only color in the room was a bookshelf filled with old books.

"Uhm... nice place." He said.

Angel laughed quickly, "You like white-wash? I suppose that's for the best. We aren't allowed to do any decorating."

"Eh... ,ore along the lines of attempting small talk." He said.

"It's not really working." she said simply. She dried off her arms, walking into the room where he was, "I'm Angel. Some call me Sawyer, so if you here that, you know it's me. But, only Mr. Castle and the level fives are allowed to call me that, so you can just call me Angel."

He nodded a bit. "Angel. Got it."

She nodded, "And pardon me if I don't remember your name. A lot of people die around here, so I don't often keep track of them all."

He half-smirked. "How comforting."

"It wasn't meant to be. I suppose it might help to say that level 1 students usually get arrested, not killed."

He grimmaced. "Prison really isn't my schtick. Death isn't eitrher, I mean, but it might be better."

She shrugged, "Maybe with enough willpower, you could keep out of both."

"That's what I'll aim for." He said. "Anyway, what are we doing today?"

"Not too much, I think I'm just going to take you out to the shooting range to see what you can do."
