"Really?" Lilly asked, a bit disbelieving. Sometimes she wondered how someone who had been around as long as they had could be so childish.

Electra smiled and looked at Jason.
"To me it seems like you guys stay childish to keep from becoming an old grouch. In certain terms. Meaning as you get older, you try to suppress that feeling of seriousness and stay carefree."

Jason smiled and nodded to electra. "very perceptive young one. plus, being old gets rather dull after the first hundred years or so. being childish is a lot more fun, but we know when we're meant to be serious" he said. He kept his arms around the two young doves, since electra was technically a dove still.

Electra laughed.
"I know what you mean...after 50 years of life as an angel, I started getting serious, then it was replaced with a cocky attitude."

Lilly nodded, it made sense in a strange sort of way. She almost wondered why she didn't see it sooner. The dark feeling she had gotten for a brief moment when Az had showed up passed over her and lingered, causing her to shudder.

Jason tightened his light hug on lilly thinking she was cold. he looked over at electra "i figured that was the case" he said smiling. "most angels go through that faze at some point, but i sorta skipped it" he said.

"Well I have a feeling my attitude will be permanent for a while. It's more fun being sarcastic."
Electra smiled a crooked smile and ran her hand through her hair.

Lilly nodded. She couldn't remember ever getting to cocky. She had pretty much always been the same: shy, quiet, and reserved.

Jason laughed. 'you say that now but eventually it does get old" he said with his arms still around them. he looked at lilly. "why don't you speak up a bit?" he asked msiling playfully at her.

Lilly looked around, "I'm feeling something nearby and I'm not sure what it is." Lilly explained, "It feels kinda dark. Like when someone is standing behind you and casting a shadow over you."

Electra repressed a scowl from old memories. That's exactly how she felt when she was in hell with the Fallen and how she felt half the time when she was on Earth, except she was casting the dark shadow.

Jason frowned. "i was hoping i was imagining that feeling." he said quietly. "everyone keep still now. i believe the fallen may have found us.

Lilly didn't even breathe as she sat perfectly still. The shrieks of the Fallen's messenger could be heard overhead, sounding like the shrieks of large birds who have found their prey.

Electra sighed and closed her eyes, trying to see who it was they sent.
Sand...that's for sure. Jane and Sal...Oh my word...Peril?!
Electra's eyes flew open and she clasped her hand over her mouth to repress the slight gasp of shock she felt rise to her lips.

Jason moved azzy off of his lap and drew his swords, standing and facing the entrance. "you three stay behind me" he said suddenly serious. he was ready for a fight. "whatever happens just stay behind me" he repeated as he waited for their attackers to enter.

Electra's hand shook slightly as she moved it to her weapon.
Peril wouldn't attack me...would he...?

Lilly nodded, drawing the sword that Jason had given her. It felt so light in her hands... then again, if it was heavy she wouldn't be able to hold it. She was very small.

soon the very fallen electra had suspected burst down and entered their base. Jason growled at them. "leave now lest you wish to forfeit your lives" he said growling as he crouched low, ready to strike lest they try something.

Electra's shock dispersed as instinct took over. She grabbed her weapon and held it at the ready.
I suppose he would...
Disappointment coated her thoughts.

Lilly stood behind Jason like he had asked, feeling like she was going to puke with the fear bottled up inside her.
I hope we make it out of here...

Peril hesitated when he saw electra. he stared at her as the other four lept at jason. He growled and knocked down their blows and with one round kick he sent them back a good few feet. "come on you four i'm sure you can do better then that" he said smirking.

Electra tried focusing on Jason and his fight, instead of the hesitating Peril in front of him.
Hopefully this ends better...

Lilly looked back and forth, not sure what to do. Maybe she should just wait for Jason to tell he what to do, but then again, maybe she didn't need to bother him.

Peril finally spoke, stil watching electra and not the fight. "electra? you're the traitor?" he asked seeming rather uncertain of himself, which was unusual for him. jason meanwhile was pissing off the other falllen, sending them back each time they moved, and more then one was cut up a bit.

Electra inhaled sharply and turned swiftly towards Peril.
"Yeah, what of it Peril? You going to kill me too, just like all the others?"
Her words were soaked with venom.
