"Can those infected be killed, or is it mostly a case of hack until they can't even crawl?" He asked, his eyes lost in thought. He looked up when Naomi spoke. "no, most elves are arrogant jerks. i'm an angel by comparison" he said before turning his thoughts back to the dirge situation.

"They can be killed. It isn't always an easy task, but it can be done." He said.

"any special requirements for them to die? beheading? disembowlment? or is it the same as it would be for a normal person?" he asked looking up at the man. He wanted to know as much as possible so he would be ready if the fight came.

Lord Duskhand approached. He had a question he needed to ask. "Is or only enemy the Dirge, or are there perhaps bandits who have taken the opportunity that this confusion has caused?"

He shrugged a bit. "Fight it as if you were fighting any other living creature." He replied before looking to Duskhand. "So far, there hasn't been much other resistance; but I'm sure that many will take advantage of the situation." He said.

"works for me" Jason said smirking. He took the time now to look around at those gathered. It certainly seemed to him like a rag tag group, but then again, those were often the most enjoyable to be in, at least in his opinion. he looked over at duskhand to wait for his answer.

"Lets just say that I will require some 'volunteers' to regain control of my armies, now that all the death in our world has made me strong, I only require a few more souls to regain control of Necrostatuos. With the forces in that land, we will have an army that will not be affected by the Dirge, and it is fearless." He said.

"So, you're going to kill bandits, to feed your army?"

Jason raised an eyebrow. He couldn't help this was like feeding a mountain lion to fend off the wolves. What would be done about this army after it was all over anyway?

"Exactly." He would would field his army as soon as he had it under his control. He would not make the same mistake this time. There would only be one commander of his forces, Naomi. His old commanders had been unwilling to kill their kindred when the time had come and their failure to strike when ordered had aloud his enemies to unite and crush his armies. He had put too much of his own power into his generals and when the died they took his power with them.

"Don't. Kill. Innocents." He said, marking each word with a definite pause.

Isolde listened to the conversation carefully, taking in every word. This elf made her uneasy, though she was sure it was just his attitude, and this Lord Duskhand Really put her on edge. She was a quiet person by nature, not speaking much and listening constantly, with a blank, serious expression on her face a majority of the time. She wanted to make sure these people saw her as she was; a commander.
Isolde rested a hand on Sambel's shoulder, "Perhaps it is time that you rest a bit. I can tell this is wearing on you."

Jason rested his chin on his hand, drawing in the dirt with a stick. "let's see.." he murmured to himself as he tried to figure a way out of this complex predicament their world was in.

Sambel rubbed his eyes with his hands. "Can you watch if I go to sleep?" He asked.

Isolde nodded, "I can." she said simply, her words ever-brief.

Jason ran his fingers through his hair. he had drawn out over a dozen ideas for fixing the problem, but none were both effective AND realistic. his theories only were one or the other. He didn't seem at all tired as he sat back and rested his chin on his fist, looking over his sketches trying to figure out a way to make it work, but it wasn't going too well.

Sambel nodded a bit and stood. "If you need me, wake me. I'm going to sleep in my armor." He said, walking over to one of the tents and lying down inside.

Isolde nodded simply, not speaking. Sure, she was tired, too, but he needed the rest more than she did.

Isolde was standing, watching, keeping an eye on things. A weary look was in her eyes. Faint, and masked by a look of stone, but there.

Sambel walked up to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "I couldn't get to sleep. You can give it a shot if you want. You look tired."

Isolde, as much as she wanted to put up a strong front, nodded, "Don't let me sleep too long." she said simply, going into the tent.

He nodded. "I'll have you up at dawn. We need to plan our moves." He said, letting her go before he sat on a log.
