"Something is here." Isolde said simply, "I think Duskhand is more knowledgeable than I."

Sambel looked to Duskhand. "Care to elaborate?" He asked.

Duskhand drew his sword and held it up. He sighed deeply as if recalling a memory from long ago. "It seems there is a Demon in our midst. These lesser Demons used to be tied to natural things. Every tree had one, every rock, and every other thing that is part of nature. When you cut down a tree, the Demon dies with it. But during my campaign, my sorcerers and I, found away to extract the Demons from their homes. We would then trap them within objects that we could draw power from. My sword alone has over one hundred." He paused. "We also found more 'creative' ways to destroy. These new ways could level whole forests and leave the Demons unharmed. It was a more effective way of harvesting them. Some did manage to escape though, and know they wander with no attachment to anything." He then put his sword away. And looked off at were the Demon had gone.

"A lot more than people think escaped."

Desu appeared as a wisp of smoke with black eyes (Desu liked looking like cool things from time to time) in the corner of the camp, weary of the sword. A thought of maybe freeing his fellow demons crossed his mind.

"But most choose to stay corners now. Like the Jungle to the south. And you never answered my questions. Where are ya headed?"

Duskhand shook his head. "Why should we tell you? And I wouldn't try freeing the demons from my sword if I were you." He had seen the way Desu had been looking at his sword.

"Ah fair enough." Desu said and was wisked away in a breeze. "I'll be seeing you"

This time they will sleep. And then I get to do fun things! Oo, maybe draw on their faces.

Isolde shook her head, muttering, "Risen dark lords and now demons. Maybe I should sleep more."

Sambel grimaced a bit, rubbing his eyes. "It's all falling to pieces..." He muttered, walking back towards his tent to rest.

Isolde looked to Duskhand, "I think I should retire for the night as well. Good night." she noddded, and went to her tent to sleep as well.

And with that the demon got to work. Sneaking in the tent the "dark lord" as they called him wouldn't see him, but probably sense him in the area. Desu flipped though anything and everything. If they weren't going to tell him anything he was going to find out. And as the final touch he took all the travelers water. After that he stuck around till morning.

Duskhand felt the presence of the Demon. He looked about the camp. He had a firm grip on his sword hilt. He stepped over to Naomi who slept under the stars. He taped her with his foot. She shot a ball of lighting at him by instinct. Duskhand simply caught it and absorbed it. "Get up young one, the demon is back." She got up and looked about the camp.

Great. They know I'm here. Lets just dump all this water then and disappear. Desu could have turned into a fly right then but he hated turning into bugs. And they were too easy to kill anyway... So a bird it was. A Sparrow to be precise. And he flew out of the tent into the sky. Then dove back down as a last "Suck it" to his would be pursuers.

Duskhand and Naomi roused their companions. And informed them of what the spirit had done. "With out your water you will need to find a river soon."

Isolde gave a light groan of irritation, "I'll see if any major waterways are close by. I'm afraid that's the most detailed my map gets."

Sambel sighed a bit, grimacing. "Well, this isn't going well. This whole world is falling to pieces. I'll be back soon, I'm going to find a stream. Anyone want to tag along?" He asked.

Isolde exhaled, "I'll come along. I could use a walk to take my mind off things."

Desu was a in the form of a cat. He strolled in, as cats do.
"What, are all of you going to get water? Someone has to stay and clean camp, you know"

Sambel looked down at the cat, one eyebrow raised skeptically. "All right, then..." He mumbled slightly, mounting his horse (TWSS, I know...).
