Isolde exhaled a frustrated sigh. She didn't like this one at all. As a matter of fact, Sambel was the only one she could really stand to be around.

Lord Duskhand was amused by the bickering. He then turned to Naomi and they began to talk. Duskhand and Naomi seemed to be arguing about something. "Naomi, I have foreseen it, we can not stop it from happening."

"But my lord, you can't!"

"It is unavoidable, Naomi."

"But what will happen afterword?"

"I- I don't know..."

Isolde glanced over her shoulder, but didn't ask any questions.

((Nope. I'll post again.))

After a little while of listening to them argue, Isolde spoke up, "What seems to be the problem with you two?" she asked.

Duskhand looked at Isolde. "There will come a time when I will be forced to leave all of you. But do not trouble yourselves with it."

"As long as it's after we've gotten rid of the Dirge, I won't worry too much." Isolde said simply.

Duskhand sighed. He knew the time for his sacrifice was nearing. And he knew it would be to help defeat the Dirge. But he would not reveal anything further. "It is far off. Not until we return to my home land."

"When the time comes, you will understand." His sacrifice would be for the benefit of all present.

"If you say so..." He said, watching Duskhand curiously. After a while more of riding, they came upon the road they were looking for.

Isolde looked at the path, "I'd advise everyone stay on guard. Orcs are known to ambush travelers."

Sambel nodded slightly. "Once we reach some more heavily populated areas, we shouldn't have much trouble." He said.

Duskhand looked down the road. He felt that there would be little along this path that would cause too much trouble for them. He just hoped his spell held.

After riding all day, the sun had begun to set, lessening the light by which they could travel.

Sambel stopped his horse, mulling over the decision. "We should probably rest for the night. But, if you could light the camp, that would be grand." He said.

Isolde dismounted. Her horse was weary from travel.
