The Vampire Diary: Fallen Angels

There is a book, well-known but rarely talked about, in the undergrounds of the world. This book is not one read for pleasure, this is a book one reads to learn. That was the intention anyway...
The Vampire Diary, written by Isabella Marie Strauss I, Marcello Stevens, and Zane Stevens, contains information on all the creatures of the world. Their weaknesses, their strengths, and histories. There exists only one copy, and that copy has been held by Isabella for almost 100 years.
But, recently, tragedy has befallen the book. Marcello, one of the authors of the book and Isabella's husband, died protecting her. And later, Bella died protecting the book. Because whoever has the book, can destroy any of the creatures they want. In the wrong hands, the Diary could destroy the world.
But, the story continues. Because the good thing about a diary, is that it never has to end.

Rules/General Info:

1) I have a storyline in mind for these, starting here and progressing into a whole series of RPs. So, don't give away too much info about your character here. You will have plenty of time to keep going with the bio.

2) I'd like for everyone's character to at least have known Bella for a little while previous to her death. You also should have history with other characters. If you can't come up with anything, let me know and I'll help you out.

3) Please post your bio before jumping in, I need to incorporate your character into the story line.

4) Please have a picture. And don't just say "Avi Pic". I want you to put a picture as in like with the IMG thingies.

5) Also, I'd like for everyone to stay the races that they are. As in, Bella II is a human and shall stay human unless I say otherwise.

6) No weird races. I.E. If you want to be a were-wolf, then you are the run-of-the-mill were-wolf. Nothing extra. And the traditional ones, too! No off-breed vampires like the ones in Twilight. I'm wanting like Hollywood Vampire vampires.

7) Don't screw with me here. I have a plan and I don't want it messed with. You can ad-lib as you want, but don't make anything up about anyone else's character without that person's permission.

8) I'd apriciate it if no one else was human. Pwease?

9) OK, no one knew about Bella's death when we start, mmk?

Characters:


Isabella Marie Strauss II
Age: 18
Gender: female
Personality: Typical Type B personality with a little bit of a temper.
Blood Type: O-
Race: Human
Bio: Isabella is the daughter of Marcello Stevens and Isabella Strauss I. No one in the group knew that she even existed previous to today. She is usually called Bella. There are rumors that she is going to bring about the legendary War of the Moon. (Info on that coming later) Bella inherited the Diary from her mother and doesn't seem to realize how imperative it is that she keeps it safe.

Zane Edward Stevens
Age: 265
Gender: Male
Personality: shy, awkward, and romantic
Blood Type: AB
Race: Fallen Angel
Bio: Zane is the last surviving author of the Vampire Diary. He has been given the task of watching over the newest Isabella and is baffled as to how a girl with neither parent human ended up human herself. He has lost both his brother and his best friend to creatures after the Diary and is firm in his belief that it should just be destroyed. However, Bella left specific instructions to give the Diary to Isabella II and keep the two of them safe, so he abides by Bella's last wishes. He has tattoos on his back that are enchanted to hide his wings so he can blend in with other people on Earth.

Kalvin and Riot Wolf
Age: both are 115
Gender: both are male
Personalities: (Kalvin) sincere, playful, and energetic (Riot) perverse, fun, and loud
Blood Type: Both are type O+
Race: Kalvin and Riot are Royals, or human-looking creatures with extraordinary powers. Kalvin can read the minds of others and Riot can create doppelgangers of himself.
Bio: Kalvin and Riot were what one would refer to as fan-boys of Bella's friend, Kyira, and both are very fun to be around. Riot is more in-your-face, but Kalvin is content to observe from the shadows. They have the traditional twin telepathy and can hear each others thoughts.

Kyira Rayne Valo
Age: 165
Gender: Female
Personality: Sarcastic, argumentative, but caring on the inside.
Blood Type: A
Race: Royal, she has bright violet eyes that easily stand out from a regular humans. She can read minds, perform telepathy and as an odd added bonus, has been able to control, create and absorb water.
Bio: Kyira was a good friend of Bella's and was with her almost constantly. The two of them depended on each other for most things, Bella for protection, and Kyira for a friend. Kyira is very strong and has been referred to as a thug, but those people are in the hospital right now, so if you wanted to verify it with them, you couldn't.

Jason Lobo Amaroq
Gender: Male
Personality: Quiet at first and seems to have issues with his past but can be very hyper and playful when around the right people.
Blood type: O
Race: Wolf Demon
Bio: Was Zane's best friend until a few months before Zane met Bella. Jason mysteriously vanished without a trace and only recently reappeared. He was the only one to see Bella's death...

Nathan Lowe
Age: 213
Gender: Male
Personality: Happy-go-lucky, agreeable, optimistic, ADHD-ish
Blood Type: O-
Race: Lycanthrope (Werewolf)
Bio: Nathan grew up in the quaint town of Thatchers Mills in northern Maine. When Nathan was fifteen, a series of gruesome murders began to uprise in his hometown, and Nathan would wake up in fields, the woods, anywhere without any recollection of how he got there. One night, he woke up, covered in blood with the corpse of the town's butcher a few feet away. He was horrified and ran away, ashamed of what he had apparently done. After a day or two, he stumbled upon Adrian who gladly explained to him that he was a monstrous killing machine, bent on destroying all he came in contact with. Nathan, feeling even worse now, scowered the globe to see if he could find some way to control his powers. He eventually found ways to control himself. (He can now change to his lupine form at will as long as the sun has set, and he keeps his human mind during his changes. Though, if under great emotional stress he might be forced into a feral rage. He's also more werewolf-like under a full moon.) After a while of traveling the world, he's often met up with Adrian. He and Adrian have helped Bella I and Marcello get away from pursuing creatures and have stayed in touch with the two of them up until their deaths.

Adrian Farenheits Tepes
Age: 592
Gender: Male
Personality: Nihilistic, sarcastic, easily annoyed
Blood Type: No idea.
Race: Dhampir (Half vampire)
Bio: Adrian grew up in, you guessed it, Walachia(Old Transylvania if you didn't know that). He was a prince there, who's father was the famous Vladislav Tepes. Or as he is better known throughout history, Dracula the Impaler, who was indeed a vampire. Adrian grew up as a pretty much normal Walachian prince, until his sixteenth birthday when his abnormally long canine teeth found their way into the neck of his maid. It was time for another father-son talk... and as a result of that, Adrian ditched Europe all together. But, sadly, along the way he met up with Nathan Lowe, an overly-optimistic werewolf who has proved to be a reoccurring annoyance, rival, and worst of all, friend at times throughout Adrian's life. He and Nathan have helped Bella I and Marcello get away from pursuing creatures and have stayed in touch with the two of them up until their deaths.

Adrian Alesana Puget
Age: 91
Gender: Female
Personality: outspoken, shy at times, a little perverted
Blood Type: A+
Race: Vampire
Bio: Adrian refuses to shed light on her past. Little is known about her other than that she met Bella I when she was a young vampire and that Bella was the one who kept Adrian from becoming a total savage. Adrian has incredible self-control, thanks to Bella, and tries her hardest to keep everyone from arguing.

Zane looked at the girl next to him. She was dressed in a black t-shirt with lace around the sleeves and at the base of the square neck on her shirt. Her arms were bare, save for a pair of black lace arm warmers with a skull on the hand. Her jeans were tight, with a chain going from a belt loop in the front to another on the side. Her blonde hair was slightly wavy, drifting to the middle of her back. She had pink ipod head phones in her ears, and was blaring them loud enough that he could hear them from four feet away. She was listening to Fallen Angels from Aerosmith's Nine Lives album. One of Bella's favorite songs.
Both of them.
Her face and build looked so much like the first Bella that he knew when he walked into the room, everyone would ask Bella how she was. And they would be thinking of her mother. Not her.
He had taken the liberty of calling all of Bella's close friends over so he could tell them the news. And it wasn't good. He hated to be the bringer of bad news, but someone had to do it.
Kyira was going to hate him for this.

Kyira knocked on the door of Zane's home, shifting her weight uncomfortably. She hadn't been to his house for a few weeks, reasons being she hadn't heard from him for weeks. She hadn't heard from anyone really, besides Riot and Kalvin, who called every other hour. She felt a bad aura around the house, a sad one at that.

Jason, who had been wandering outside thinking until the rather loud sound of music, well at least to his sensitive ears, caught his attention. he walked inside and his eyes grew wide, not from the girl, but from the guy. "Zane? holy c*** man is that you?" He asked staring at zane. they hadn't seen each other since their teens. jason was two years older than zane. it had been a couple hundred years since they had last seen each other. way too long for two who had once been such close friends.

Zane let Kyira in, "Hey." He smiled lightly, moving aside to let her in the house, Bella sitting on the couch, staring blankly into space in front of her. Zane looked over and saw Jason, "Yep. It's me. Come on in."

Kyira stopped for a moment, watching Bella. She looked like Bella Struass, but then again, she didn't. She didn't give off that airy, light and feeling of happiness Bella had.
"Zane...is that...Bella...our Bella?" Kyira amended at the end.

Jason walked in still staring at zane. "how long has it been since we last saw each other?" he asked watching him. they had been hands down the best of friends. now it was like an awkward meeting between strangers. He was a bit surprized zane hadn't asked what had happened to him, since he had dissappeared and nothing had been heard of him for over two hundred years.

Zane pushed his fingers thorough his hair, "Yes and no, Kyira. Her name is Isabella Marie Strauss.... the second. Bella is dead." he looked up at Jason, "Forgive me for not being quite so hospitable at the moment. I'm a little tired."

Kyira gasped loudly and covered her mouth, tears welling in her eyes. She felt like her heart had literally been torn to shreds.
"When...?" She whispered.

Jason nodded in understanding. he looked at the girl for the first time and jumped a good ten feet back. "are you sure she's not a ghost?" he asked a bit shakily. "i saw someone who looked just like her die a bit ago" he said not realizing he was talking about that girl's mother.

"That was her mother." Zane nodded, "Bella died a few hours ago. This is Bella and Marcello's daughter."

Jason looked at Zane. had he known jason had seen the last seconds of the first bella's life? he looked away, just staring as he tried to get his thoughts in line. he had tried to save the girl... but he had been just a few seconds too late...

"Wait...how did she die and why was I never informed she had a daughter?"

"Bella was defending the Diary." Those words were enough to send a gasp of shock to the lips of everyone there, save Bella. She was listening to her music. "She was trying to save all of us. And she succeeded. For the time, being anyway."

Jasno tilted his head to the side. he didn't know what the diary was. he was sorta really oblivious to it. then again... he had good reasons for not being with the times.

"That damned diary..." Kyira muttered. She had hated it ever since it was written. A book that could easily give anyone a key to take over the world if they wanted.

Zane nodded, "I would have just destroyed it, but..." he sighed, "Bella left a note with her last wishes on it. She doesn't want it destroyed. That's how I found out about this one. Bella's note tells us everything."
Zane handed Kyira the note:
To whom it may concern,
If you are reading this, then I'm no longer with you. Zane, Marcello, Kyira, Kalvin, Riot... Bella, I love you all. I always have. I have most likely passed because of the Diary, but please listen to me: do not, under any circumstances, destroy it. While the Diary may be a key in the destruction of Earth, it was created to defend you. I have tried to keep this hidden as long as I could. And when the time was right, I planned to tell you. But I suppose it never came. Marcello and I have a daughter, whom Marcello decided to name after me, though I would rather have given her the name of another. Isabella Marie Strauss II is living in the care of an old friend, named Dianne. Kyira, I know you may object to this, but as odd as Dianne may be, she is careful with matters of the life of another. A little note on the matter of Bella, if anything should happen to me, you all are trusted to care for her beyond what Dianne could. Somehow, Bella was born human. She is no different from the common girl on the street, and I would appreciate it if you left her human unless absolutely necessary.

"How long has this Bella been here?" Kyira asked.
It seemed odd that Bella just died a few hours ago and her daughter was already in Zane's care.

"A few minuites, actually." He blushed a little, pulling a headphone out of her ear, "Take those out, Bella."
Bella sighed, turning off her ipod and putting it in her pocket. "Alright."

Jason stayed silent. He drifted back into a shadowed corner and watched the second bella. he was curious more than anything. he started chewing on the end of his ponytail absently as he watched ehr.

"Where's Dianne then?" Kyira was very...well...burden you could say, or agitated. One that Bella hadn't been in contact with her at all in the month before she died, two that she left her daughter in Dianne's care and three because she never really did say goodbye to Bella.

"Dianne stayed at her castle. You know her, she never wants to leave the comfort of her own house." Zane said, looking over at Bella from the corner of his eye. It was remarkable how much she looked like Bella. Her mother Bella, of course.
Bella's eyes searched the room. They were the same dark green as her mother's had been when she was human. Her eyes met Jason's and lingered there for a while, then returned to looking down. It wasn't fair. She had never gotten to know her mother save for a few occasional minuites of her mother and Dianne. Bella was her mother and she had never gotten to know her. Or her father. But, at least she knew they tried. They loved her, even if these strangers knew her mother better than she did.
"Dianne's coming down for the funeral, though. She refuses to miss that."

Kyira hugged herself the way she did when she was in thought.
"I wouldn't let her miss the funeral." Kyira added.
"Are those twins coming as well?"

Jason's heart skipped a beat when they locked eyes for that brief moment. when he had seen her eyes he had felt like he was falling into a green sea. it was a wierd feeling. he kept chewing on the end of his pony tail as he watched her, wondering if she would look his way again.
