"Ek, ow." Abraxas said, reaching up to his cig and trying to pull it out, but the ice stuck to his lips. "Eh, dawwit." He said, tugging on the cig and sending a slight glare, though with a small hint of amusement, to Estelle. Usually Plutonians (?) messed with people, not the other way around.

She looked back over at him and waved slightly, though her face betrayed no emotion. "I'm Estelle Starr." She said quickly, though her words were as icy as the rest of her.

Jason, who was normally on time, was even later than the plutonian. "sorry for being late, angel decided to play hide and seek this morning without telling me" he said the cat sitting on his head at the moment like a hat. he sat down in his desk and angel hopped onto the desk and started trying to catch his fingers.

Estelle looked over at the cat passively, again betraying no emotion. She cupped her hands together and tossed a little ice ball to the cat, "And you are?"

angel meowed once as if trying to talk but then she was too occupied knocking the balll around the table to do much else. "i'm Jason Amaroq, this is Angel" He said motioning to the cat who was knocking the ball all over the desk.

Jason looked at the book curiously, angel, who had long since knocked the iceball off the desk, hopped up on his hsoulder and looked at the book too. she was the stereotypical curious kitten.

"This is the book we're going to discuss in class over this week." The teacher explained, "Does anyone know what it is?"
Estelle opened it up, read the first line or two, then raised her hand, "It's Jane Eyre. An 18th century romance novel about a strong-willed governess who falls in love with her employer, who happens to already be married to a crazy who he keeps locked in a tower."

Jason was already reading. angel occasionally had to nip his ear so he wouldn't turn the page before she finished.

Jason was by now far enough into the book to have an idea of it. "i can see why. it's pretty interesting" He said. he always had a habit of reading really fast. he usually read every book three times, since he missed things the first two times.
