Some people dream of this moment their whole lifetime. Their 'big break', a new beginning hoping the nation will realize what talent they have. Grant it, some people waste Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and Kara DioGuardi's time with audition and sounding worse than a cat being thrown into a lawnmower.

Chancing was walking onto the big stage.
This was the very first time he ever was nervous
Or stage-fright
Either way, it was the first time he ever had this feeling before singing in front of an audience
What would America think of me? Chancing thought while pacing back and forth backstage
This was the first week on the big stage
Along with Season 9's Top 10
This week was Broadway show tunes week
Chancing had picked Rum Tum Tucker from the musical Cats
Finally the stage manager motioned Chancing to be set on stage
This is it Chancing thought
He waited until Ryan had introduce him to start singing, as usual
Then the band started playing the first beginning chords and Chancing was off
He danced around on stage catlike, to capture the character while singing

at the last note, Chancing switched to his falsetto and went as high as he could
The crowd went crazy
All the judges was speechless
Needless to say, Chancing nailed this one!
He pranced off stage and waited until the next person to take the stage: Bella

Bella high-fived Chancing on his way off stage, "Nice! Great job! You are definitely going to be safe this week." she assured him. Bella had sort of become the encouraging little sister to the top ten. However, she was a little unsure of herself. I mean, she was just a 16 year old from Kentucky...
Either way, she walked onto the stage as Ryan introduced her, taking her place on the platform behind the judges seats with her left arm held above her head and her right hand holding the microphone. A high-pitched synthesizer began playing a catchy dance-esque pattern for a few seconds before she began singing.
"If you change your mind, I'm the first in line. Honey I'm still free, take a chance on me."
She sang through the whole song, dancing along rhythmically, enjoying her few minutes of fame before she stood before the judges. She smiled, pleased that Randy seemed to know she was taking the Erasure spin-off, and all three complemented her originality, though Simon hated her edgy, neon-colored ensemble. She had even sort of tricked out her hair, though he said it made her look like a traffic cone.

Chancing waited backstage for Bella
I wonder if she knew that we were from the same state? Chancing though
A few minutes past by and Bella appeared in the green room
"Great job!" Chancing congratulated

Bella blushed, "Thanks." She smiled, "But you were awesome! I mean, seriously." she walked past a mirror and looked herself over with a laugh, "I guess I sort of do look like a traffic cone."

"Don't mind Simon, he just a cranky old man" Chancing said while laughing
"I though you done amazing" Chancing congratulated

Bella smiled, "Thanks. You did better, though. I love that song! Where did they say it was from again? Cats?"

"Nonsense, mine was mediocre compared to other weeks" Chancing said while looking at himself in the mirror
"But yeah it was from Cats, i though the song was fitting because i love Rum Tum Tucker"

Bella nodded, "It's been forever since I've seen it... I think we know where mine was from." she giggled, "Not many musicals used Abba."

"Ah Mamma Mia!" Chancing said
"I haven't seen that one and forever!"

Bella smiled, "I watched it yesterday. I love it!" Since Bella was the last performer of the day, after the show was over, they all went out to dinner as a group.

They arrived at a quite formal restaurant named La Romana
Chancing pulled Bella's chair out for her as a gentleman would always do for a lady, even if the guy is gay and their just friends
Bella sat down and Chancing sat down across from her
"So I hear that Paula's contract might be up pretty soon." Chancing said while thumbing over the menu; the garden burger looked most appetizing to him tonight since he is a vegetarian and all

Bella's mouth dropped, "No way! They can't let her go, though... She's so sweet! I feel like she's a second mother to me!"
