Bella looked around, forcing herself out of Jason's arms and onto her feet, stubborn as ever. She was still a bit blue in the face, and coughing a bit, trying to catch her breath. "Did you get it?" she asked.

The thing busted the door down, then roared loudly, charging toward Adrian. Before it could get to him, Bella had taken the burning piece of wood and shoved it into the thing stomach. It howled in pain, then ran away as fast as it could go.
