In the world, there are many dark, dangerous things unknown to the common man. Things that kill without a second thought, then pick the flesh from the corpse's bones. Things that, after death, never move on. Things that would kill us all if it weren't for the few brave, or stupid people that try to fight them off.


Trevor never really fit in well in his hometown. While everyone else seemed to fit the description of a normal Joe, he was different. He was quite obsessed with creatures of the night (even though he knew they weren't real), and he was into music that would make most people curl up into the fetal position and start screaming. Now, he's aged to nineteen and faces a critcal dilema- face the horrid years of college, or leave now and find something decent to do with his life. Though, not many chances are given in a podunk town like his....


Artemis De Lune
Artemis was raised in a family of hunters. Usually, they would hunt animals in the forest, other times, they would hunt people as hired assassins, but recently, Artemis has started hunting pretty much anything that moves after dark. Her family was destroyed by vampires, so she is the last one left in a prestigious line of hunters.

Trevor walked down the street, walking out of a rather cheap-looking hotel. he looked a lot different than what one would expect from such a small, podunk town. He pretty much fit the goth sterotype, which was unheard of in places like that. But, there was always the odd one out. He was walking to the hospital. Recently, his father was home alone and suffered a rather bad accident. A lamp had mysteriously flown across the room and collided with his head, leaving him with a nice concussion. The authoroties dismissed it as assult by an unknown perp, but Trevor's father swore no one else was in the house. The tabloids, of course, put a "Haunting" in the papers, but Trevor had his own theory.

Trevor sighed as he walked down the street. Though, he looked up as he heard a car approaching; at a rather high speed at that. Odd. Who would purposly be comming to this town?

Artemis stopped the car in front of Trevor, rolling down the window and pushing her sunglasses down her nose, "Hey, kid, did you read the haunting story in the paper the other day? I'm looking for the house. It's kind of important."

Trevor looked up at Artemis when she stopped next to him. "Yeah, I do. Why do you want to know? Are you another reporter or something?" He asked.
((It would be advised that she say "Yes." How far could someone really get if they said they were a creature hunter?))

"Sure. You could say that." She said simply, "But, like I said, this is important, so please hurry here."

Trevor shrugged. "Down the block, take a right, then left, keep going for a few more blocks, take another left, then anothe-... Uh, just let me show you." He offered.

Artemis pushed the door to her car open, "Hop in, kid."

Trevor climbed in the car and closed the door. "You're, like, the ninth person I've had to show around this place."

"That's because it's in the middle of freaking nowhere. I had to stop by the Flying J just to get directions to the town." Artemis said candidly.

"Heh, you're telling me, try living here. It sucks. Now, go straight ahead, I'll tell you when to turn."

Artemis nodded and drove straight.

Trevor pulled over at a house with a little bit of police tape around it. "There she is, poltergeist and all."

Artemis nodded and got out of her car, walking around and under the police tape, "Who lives here?" She asked.

Trevor followed Atremis past the police tape. "Me and my dad. Well, sort of. Now I have to stay in a cheap hotel and my dad's still in the hospital."
