"I live in a world called Marp where the trees are made out of gelatin-free jell-o." He smiled, "And nah. You were, are, always so much more mature than the other girls. You make my head hurt sometimes." he paused, "And who's to say we weren't in love?"

"The law of best friends...don't fall in love with your best friend, if you want to keep them around that is." Kyira said, her face not revealing her real emotion behind the subject.

Zane chuckled, "That doesn't mean I can't tell you I love you!" He smiled, hugging her close to him, "Love you!" He stood back, hand over his mouth to keep from laughing, "Jennica is going to get a kick out of that."

"Jennica? Who the bloody hell is that?" Kyira said with a laugh.

Zane rolled his eyes, "It's the model that my agent is telling everyone I'm with. Even she believes it. She's a b**** and a f****** whore. I hate her, but my agent has her living with me." Zane shuddered.

Kyira sighed.
"Sucks for you. At least you don't have your fans making fan fictions about you having kinky sex with the lead singer of your band. Wait...I'm sure they are."

Zane laughed, "Actually, I've read some pretty detailed ones. These people have talent. And way too much free time."

"Ha yeah seriously. I actually met my musical idol because of one of those. It started my first and probably worst famous relationship. I met Max Green, thought I was in love but it was horrible. We fought more than we actually talked."
Kyira shook her head, clearly disappointed by her relationship with Max.

Zane shrugged, "I remember your high-school crush on him. I'm guessing your over it?"

"Way over it. He was a jerk. He found an old picture I had of you and me and he f***ing threw it in the fire."
Kyira's face grew dark as she remembered the incident.
"I was totally miffed about it."

"I'll bet. We're best friends!" He shouted, causing a brief moment of silence, that then returned to the chaos of the party.

"Pft, we're not best friends, we're bed buddies! Remember?' Kyira said with a playful shove.

Zane grinned, "And great lovers." He joked, "Come on, wanna meet the rest of the guys?" he asked.

"Sure, might as well. Hopefully I can find a new boyfriend." Kyira said with a laugh.
One thing she had always been and always would be was a flirt.

Zane laughed, "You naughty flirt." He giggled.
