"If you're my mother, then why don't you act like it instead of screaming at me all the time?!" Adrian said through gritted teeth, her hands balling up into fists.

"You won't listen to me any other way!" She yelled back, "I'm tired of dealing with you. Just go to bed." She slammed the door shut and walked off, cursing the whole way.

Adrian kicked the door hard, ignoring the pain that shot up her leg. Muttering to herslef, she opened her window and prepared to climb out.

Nikki was right under the window in their mom's car, grinning brightly, "I am a genius."

"You are." Adrian smiled, jumping from the second story window and landing on her feet like the ninja she is.

Nikki clapped, "Brilliant! And for that, we are going to that fancy vegan restaurant down the road." He waved their mother's wallet in the air, "Mom's treat."

"Ooh, you are potsitvely evil!" Adrian laughed, hugging her brother tightly.

"Not evil. Mom is evil. I'm just freakishly good." Nikki grinned and drove off.

"OOh, um I want that...no wait, that, and that, or maybe that..." Adrian said, pointing to different things on the menu of her favorite vegan restaraunt. "Gaah, I cant choose!"

"Get them all. There are such things as to-go boxes. Besides, mom is paying, remember?" Nikki grinned.

"Duh! Of course!" Adrian exclaimed as she smacked herself on the forehead. "No, wait, I did have a V8 today..."

"'course you did. Those things are amazing." Nikki grinned, "Now, the waiter is here."

"Um...ok....just give me one of everything. Oh and two of these," Adrian said, pointing to the cheesless tofurky wraps.

The waiter nodded and left.
"See? Just have fun. Until mom sees her credit card bill, then have a blast!" Nikki laughed.

"Ooh, can we go to Germany?" Adrian asked, bouncing like a hyperactive kid.
